(FOR SALE) An early 1990’s Jean Paul Gaultier ‘Winter Warfare’ Mesh Long Sleeve Top.

Jean Paul Gaultier is a French designer who has rewrote the industry rules since inception in 1976. Founding his menswear label years later in 1984, the artisan was instantly plagued as “l’enfant terrible” for his outlandish, inexcusable designs. Consciously reconstructing our vision of beauty, he experimented without remorse, pulling from the likes of taboo niches. Utilizing rebellious textiles, Gaultier conveyed his message through inventive mediums, popularizing the mesh full print silhouette. He stomped on guidelines in pursuit of creative expression and was successful in doing so, hailed as a fashion forefather and true Magnus opus in his field.

This incredible depiction of a battle scene consumes the lower portion of this mesh top, bleeding into an eerily blue sky above. Looking intensely at the upper region of the shirt, one can see the resemblance of a God, hoisting JPG branding in the clouds. Coming in a size medium, this has an elasticated fit capable of expanding to fit the wearer accordingly. In great overall condition aside from some released thread at the bottom hem, here is the opportunity to purchase a truly timeless classic from Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic ‘Classique’ line.
