Off-White

Virgil Abloh’s brainchild Off-White stemmed from humble beginnings. Creating Pyrex in 2012, “It’s highly possible Pyrex bought a bunch of Rugby flannels, slapped “PYREX 23” on the back, and resold them for an astonishing markup of about 700%.” This quote from a distasteful write up would later be put on a rug and ironically sold by Virgil for Off-White. The brand made the transition from Pyrex to Off-White in 2013 after legal pursuit from Pyrex Tupperware became a copright concern.
