Julius

Julius’ origins are humbly found in film production, only moving to the fashion industry in 2004. Launching a small capsule collection a decade prior, founder Tatsuo Horikawa unveiled an experimental leather goods company coined ‘NUKE’ in 1997. From here, the Japanese designer found his exaggerated and rather uniform niche, essentially rebranding NUKE to Julius in 2001. Horikawa launched Julius_7 (menswear) and MA Julius (unisex) in 2004, defining the namesake as a maximalist among other identities. Presenting his first collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2008, Julius has now grown to become a renowned label, celebrated for great feats in silhouette and construction.
