AW2009 Julius [Protection_ism] Washed Brown Prison Suit
AW2009 Julius [Protection_ism] Washed Brown Prison Suit
(FOR SALE) An Autumn Winter 2009 Julius [Protection_ism;] Washed Brown Prison Suit.
Julius’ origins are humbly found in film production, only moving to the fashion industry in 2004. Launching a small capsule collection a decade prior, founder Tatsuo Horikawa unveiled an experimental leather goods company coined ‘NUKE’ in 1997. From here, the Japanese designer found his exaggerated and rather uniform niche, essentially rebranding NUKE to Julius in 2001. Horikawa launched Julius_7 (menswear) and MA Julius (unisex) in 2004, defining the namesake as a maximalist among other identities. Presenting his first collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2008, Julius has now grown to become a renowned label, celebrated for great feats in silhouette and construction.
This coverall suit is a simplistic uniform-esque piece from the label’s Autumn Winter 2009 [Protection_ism] collection features a beautiful washed brown tone, intended to look aged and dragged through wear. With simplistic darting and a structured wide leg shape, this kit is best intended to fit between 5’8 - 6’1 in my opinion. In pristine overall condition with no flaws, here is the opportunity to purchase a rare piece from Julius’ Autumn Winter 2009 presentation.
