Pelle Pelle’s undeniable ties to the creation of modern street style is a relationship that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. The first brand to create baggy designer pants in the early 1980’s, Marc Buchanan’s proudly American label would go on to be a pinnacle of rap and hip hop’s flowy, relaxed dress code. Merging their marketing campaigns with rappers of the era such as Dru Hill and The Alkaholiks, Pellé Pellé truly broke the industry standard by unifying popular culture with luxury goods. Closing down in 2018, Marc Buchanan’s legacy of classic leather goods is one I hope to carry on through collecting and presenting some of his finest work on my page.

This particular jacket has been beautifully faded and worn in with age. Immediately recognizable for its loud exterior branding, this spell-out logo Pelle Pelle leather jacket features music oriented leather patches ranging from guitars to genres of music with correlating themes surrounding them. Coming in a size large, this piece is in fantastic overall condition with minimal wear.
