Haider Ackermann is a Colombian-born fashion designer of German and Korean descent. Ackermann launched his eponymous brand in 2001, and quickly gained a reputation for his unique and eclectic designs. Ackermann's designs are characterized by a mix of textures, prints, and colors, often featuring fluid lines and asymmetrical shapes. His aesthetic blends elements of classic tailoring with a contemporary and avant-garde edge. Titled an 'Ideal suitor' to Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld, it's clear to see Ackermann is earning his stripes season after season.
I spent the last five years trying to hunt down this piece, after a long hunt, I’m thrilled to have this up for sale on my page. With an incredible spray painted finish on a calfskin leather base, these jackets were produced in extremely limited quantities, each painted individually with slight differentiations in wash from one to the next. With a blue track lining around the brass zipper hardware, this piece is a size medium and is in absolutely pristine condition. Here is the opportunity to purchase an incredibly rare piece from Haider Ackermann’s Spring Summer 2017 runway presentation.
