Raf Simons Consumed" (SS 2003) collection explored global consumerism, media saturation, and identity formation, questioning if we are consuming culture or being consumed by it, using dystopian aesthetics, and utilitarian survival gear to critique and recontextualize capitalism's pervasive influence on youth identity and self-expression.
