(FOR SALE) An Autumn Winter 2009 Joy Division “Unknown Pleasures” Wool Knit Sweater.

Jun Takahashi’s passion for Western culture and music is something that’s developed itself into the core ethos of Undercover. Pursuing a night life as a member of the ‘Tokyo Sex Pistols’ the collaborative cover band was a joint effort between other famed designers Nigo and Hiroshi Fugiwara. Undercover’s Autumn Winter 2009 collection references the artwork for Joy Division's 1979 album cover ‘Unknown Pleasures’.

This particular sweater from the Spring Summer 2017 presentation features the signature “Unknown Pleasures” print masterfully woven into the delicate wool composition. With rugged black contrast stitching that lines the exterior hems, this sweater is a timeless wardrobe staple that will only continue to appreciate with age. Coming in a size 3, this sweater fits quite undersized more-so like a small which is why it’s been listed as such. In pristine overall condition with no flaws whatsoever, here is the opportunity to purchase an increasingly hard to find Undercover ‘Unknown Pleasures’ knit sweater.
