(FOR SALE) A Vintage 1990’s Jean Paul Gaultier ‘Skeletal Corpse’ Mesh Graphic Long Sleeve Shirt.

Jean Paul Gaultier is a French designer who has rewrote the industry rules since inception in 1976. Founding his menswear label years later in 1984, the artisan was instantly plagued as “l’enfant terrible” for his outlandish, inexcusable designs. Consciously reconstructing our vision of beauty, he experimented without remorse, pulling from the likes of taboo niches. Utilizing rebellious textiles, Gaultier conveyed his message through inventive mediums, popularizing the mesh full print silhouette. He stomped on guidelines in pursuit of creative expression and was successful in doing so, hailed as a fashion forefather and true Magnus opus in his field.

This particular shirt I struggled to find a collection date for, but is held in high regard by collectors and enthusiasts alike as one of the best mesh tatouage tops from his golden years of design at his eponymous label. With a skeletal body withering away, the face attached holds a grimaced stare, surrounded by insects and lapping flames. Coming in a size medium, this piece is in perfect overall condition with no flaws. Here is the opportunity to purchase a rare gem from legendary French designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
