(FOR SALE) A pair of 2000’s Jean Paul Gaultier Homme Silk Padded ‘Biker’ Trousers.

Jean Paul Gaultier is a French designer who has rewrote the industry rules since inception in 1976. Founding his menswear label years later in 1984, the artisan was instantly plagued as “l’enfant terrible” for his outlandish, inexcusable designs. Consciously reconstructing our vision of beauty, he experimented without remorse, pulling from the likes of taboo niches. Utilizing rebellious textiles, Gaultier conveyed his message through inventive mediums, popularizing the mesh full print silhouette. He stomped on guidelines in pursuit of creative expression and was successful in doing so, hailed as a fashion forefather and true Magnus opus in his field.

This beautiful pair of trousers is an elevated twist on a traditional pair of suited pants. With an amazing silk material compostion that creates a flowy structure, the movement of these pants is contradictory to the typical stiffness of moto-padded pants, which would be hardened and thicker for protective purposes. Gaultier uses these biker inspired padding panels to accent these trousers and give them a liveleiness that would otherwise be unachievable with flat texture. Coming in a 32 inch waist, these pants are in great overall condition with just some light fading from age. Here is the opportunity to purchase a timeless pair of vintage Jean Paul Gaultier homme biker trousers
