(FOR SALE) A Vintage 2000’s Prada Sport Wool ‘Neck Guard’ Herringbone Grey Coat.

Miuccia Prada is an Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur who has been the creative force behind the luxury fashion house Prada for over three decades. Born in Milan, Italy in 1949, Prada studied political science and earned a PhD in mime and theater before joining the family business in the late 1970s. Under Miuccia Prada’s direction, the brand skyrocketed in popularity, hitting a massive turning point in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. Miuccia Prada’s minimalist yet elegant touch was the perfect contrast to the maximal early 1990’s runway fashion, beautifully taking the lead in an experimental leap of faith.

Prada’s innovative Sport line was the first of its kind and pioneered the bridge between athleisure and luxury style, allowing for a new subgenre of design to formulate. With performance in mind, Prada Sport was founded in 1998 and carried on for nearly a decade until it was discontinued in the late 2000’s. The label has recently been revived and is now one of Prada’s best marketing ploys yet again. This beautiful jacket features a leather neck guard that allows for the jacket to be worn with a closed off high collar or with a top button down (shown in photo 2). Coming in a size 44, this piece is best suited for a mens small and is in great overall condition. Here is the opportunity to purchase a timeless piece from Prada Sport’s golden era of creation.
