(FOR SALE) A Spring Summer 2004 Dolce & Gabbana Panelled Calfskin Leather Moto-Jacket

Dolce & Gabbana’s step into the new millennia was refreshing by all accounts. Introducing silhouettes akin to utility, the label immersed themselves under a militaristic persona. Popularized by designers like Helmut Lang, the tactical revolt provided a new take on utilitarian traditions. Incorporating luxury furs and expert tailoring, founders Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce unapologetically pushed the envelope, straying far from their classic Italian roots. In the heat of the anti-fashion movement, experiment was encouraged and Gabbana embraced it. Using their power as an established Maison, the duo was able to create timeless staples, regarded as the brand’s “golden era”. 📝@archivethreads

This absolutely stunning reinterpretation of a conventional moto-jacket was decades ahead of its time. Coming in a panelled split of varying brown hues and black accenting details, this jacket is complemented by D&G branded silver hardware that runs throughout. With reattached details and militaristic inspiration such as the MA-1 bomber jacket pouch on the left sleeve, it’s evident why Dolce & Gabbana’s best years through the early 2000’s are still coveted grails to this day. Best fit for a size medium, this piece is in fantastic overall condition with minimal wear. Here is the opportunity to purchase a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana leather moto-jacket from the brand’s Spring Summer 2004 collection.
