Studying art at the Otis College of Art and Design, Rick Owens would quickly transition after two years to pattern and draping courses at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College. Following his coursework, Owens would found his own label in 1994, with the core brutalist and deconstructed luxury ethos playing a major role in his creation from the jump. In the present day, Owens’ eponymous label has become a massive success, gaining a new clientele of following from his original consumer base entirely. 

This beautiful pair of jeans from Autumn Winter 2023 ‘Luxor’ have a flared bootcut fit very similar to the ‘Bolan’ model that has become equally popular these last few seasons. With spiral seams running down the legs, these gradient jeans fade from a dark brown to sand near the bottom leg opening.
