Preceding the takeover of the menswear label by none other than Raf Simons, Miuccia Prada and her team of talent follow the rising tide of more lighthearted and playful luxury. As the market shifts away from the traditional luxury consumer basis and more culture focused, these last few years have truly been a testament as to what houses are able to sink or swim. Miuccia Prada’s outstanding eye for design and understanding of how to get the job done was shown in full display, before handing off the torch to Raf Simons.

This particular jacket from the Spring Summer 2020 presentation was undoubtedly the most eye catching piece and has stood out to me ever since. This is my second time around having this jacket and by far one of my favourite Prada pieces I’ve had my hands on. With a vibrant caramel brown base, this jacket features pops of color with the split upper quadrant and blue dotted bottom.
