Jun Takahashi’s passion for Western culture and music is something that’s developed itself into the core ethos of Undercover. Pursuing a night life as a member of the ‘Tokyo Sex Pistols’ the collaborative cover band was a joint effort between other famed designers Nigo and Hiroshi Fugiwara. One of the first breakthrough eastern designers to make his way into the Parisian circuit, Takahashi is a designer who’s continued to progress with an upwards trajectory, designing for over thirty years. 

This simplistic piece from Jun Takahashi’s Autumn Winter 2007 collection references the original compactable design from Small Parts, originally debuted in 1998. Showcases with small toy blueprints detailing the similarities between swappable figurines and the pieces made for this collection.
