One of fashion’s leading forefathers and a member of the infamous Antwerp Six, Walter Van Beirendonck’s eponymous label was founded in 1983. A pioneer in many aspects, Beirendonck was a man who was willing to embrace change with open arms, creating one of the first digital luxury clothing websites on the internet. Embracing his unique and playful ideology, Beirendonck in comparison to his graduating peers from the Antwerp Six was a standalone member who’s put out the most progressive and conceptually ambitious collections over the course of three decade.
