2009 Dior by KVA ‘OMG’ Massively Oversized Slogan T-shirt
(FOR SALE) An Autumn Winter 2009 Dior by Kris Van Assche ‘OMG’ Massively Oversized Slogan T-shirt.
Founding his iconic namesake label in 1946, Christian Dior’s brand origin can be traced back to the aftermath of World War II, when the fashion industry in France was in decline. Dior, who had previously worked as a designer for other fashion houses, saw an opportunity to revive the industry with a new style that would redefine women's fashion. His successful implementation of new luxury created a spark where a flame had previously dwindled. Passing away in 1957, the brand was carried on through his successor Yves Saint Laurent and would go on to become the massive maison that we know and cherish dearly.
Created for Kris Van Assche’s Autumn Winter 2009 collection for Dior, Kris Van Assche contradicts himself, making pieces like this comically oversized graphic tee, also presented on the runway alongside beautifully tailored suits. Potentially, Assche’s message was to assess how we consume and to break bounds of what is acceptable as a ‘runway piece’. Maybe its not that deep either. This piece fits massively oversized like an XXL Tall Tee and is in pristine overall condition with no flaws. Here is the opportunity to purchase a ridiculous piece from Dior Homme’s Autumn Winter 2009 collection.
