(FOR SALE) A pair of 1/1 Bode ‘Rice Bag’ Repurposed Cotton Hand Painted Trousers.

Founded in the heart of New York’s Lower East Side, Emily Adams Bode Aujla is a modern designer whose aspirations to repurpose beautifully hand sourced fabrics and provide them with a new life has caught the attention of many. With a true old-time artisan feel, Bode’s 1/1 items alongside their meticulously picked ready to wear seasonal collections have been a true treasure in an age where genuine craft has slipped further down the rungs of importance. Emily Bode has since won GQ’s breakthrough designer of the year and made Forbes 30 under 30. The brand ideology behind Bode truly brings us back to our roots of buying clothing on a more personalized level, going deep lengths to utilize remarkable vintage fabrics that I’ve had the pleasure of being able to feel in hand.

After going in person and talking to the staff at Bode’s New York shop, I was informed these pants were created using repurposed vintage rice bag cotton cloth and were painted over by hand afterwards. This 1/1 pair of bottoms features an intricate depiction of a fox standing ground over a distant landscape, alongside the intact original information printed on the exterior of the rice sack. With a wide leg opening and drawstring tassels at the waist allowing the wearer to adjust size, these pants are best suited for a 32 inch waist or smaller. In pristine overall condition with no flaws whatsoever, here is the opportunity to purchase a timeless pair of Bode vintage rice bag repurposed cotton trousers.
