Co-founded by New York based designers Shayne Oliver and Raul Lopez in 2006, Hood By Air, otherwise regarded as HBA, once grew a massive cult following through the 2010’s, now seeming to come around again in a full circle manner. Regarded by many as a logo-centric and ‘streetwear’ esque brand, Hood By Air’s conceptual designs soared to unbelievable heights from their 2013 runway show onwards, garnering massive attention and widespread critical acclaim. Shayne Oliver has recently shifted his attention to his new label after departing HBA in 2023, leaving his brainchild Hood By Air to continue rising in desirability with celebrity endorsement from artists such as A$AP Rocky (2010’s) and Playboy Carti (present).
